All the flowers used to make these essences come from my home garden, and are never sprayed or subject to pesticides.
What are flower essences?
A flower essence is a subtle energetic medicine that captures the vibration or frequency of a plant or flower to enhance one's overall wellness. They are not the same as essential oils!
Dr. Edward Bach, an English physician, first developed flower essences as a simple and accessible alternative to healing in the 1930s. The Bach Flower Remedies are still used worldwide, as are many other reputable organizations like Flower Essence Society.
The flower's energetic vibration is imprinted into distilled or spring water and the flower is then steeped in bright sunshine. The water is later strained and the flower essence is preserved with a small amount of alcohol, traditionally brandy. This mixture of infused water and alcohol is called the Mother Essence.
The Mother Essence is then diluted down into a smaller bottle called a Stock Bottle. Stock bottles are made by diluting a few drops of the Mother Essence into a smaller amount of distilled water and alcohol.
Stock Bottles can then be diluted even further into a Dosage Bottle, which is what I have for sale. The more diluted the flower essence, the more potent its energetic medicine. Dosage Bottles are also very convenient for travel because of their small size.
Flower essences may help ease emotional or spiritual symptoms when we feel stressed, disconnected, or ungrounded.

How can I use a flower essence?
Flower essences are versatile!
- Add 2-4 drops to your favorite beverage and sip throughout the day.
- Drop 2-4 drops directly on your tongue up to 4 times per day.
- Add 2-4 drops into your bath for a relaxing and mindful self-care experience.
- Massage a few drops into your skin at pressure points or over your chakras.
My Dosage Bottles are 30 mL, 10 mL of which are brandy. As the dose is in drops, the amount of alcohol per drop should be inconsequential. However, if you are avoiding alcohol, you may use these flower essences topically with the same benefits.
My flower essences can be made using vegetable glycerine as an alternative to alcohol if there is a demand. If you would like alcohol-free flower essences, please let me know!
